1992 Christmas Letter

Well its back to the first born. Jamie is attempting to adjust to the children being on the verge of teenage life. Still trying to figure out if she’s still going to be in her 30’s as Jessica becomes a teenager. Still working hard but waiting for her husband to support her in the manner she deserves.

Terri has a house that has given a new meaning to the term “toy room”. May have to move some toys aside to make room for the new baby. The baby is scheduled for abut my birthday – how about that, Tom Jr? The lady is a good cook judging by the size of her husband.

Kelly the master breadmaker. Trying to join the book of the day club. Maybe this is the year I can quit bugging her – after all I still am overweight. But then again that magic age is approaching. Has even thought about finishing college. Yea!

Scott is in his last half year of college – period. Then he can join in job searching. We’re all very proud of him. He’s maintaining his position as family champ water skier and #1 cabin helper. He also is a good driver whose an insurance will be Y2 of 91.

I considered earrings (diamonds) for the gift but I was afraid of what Scott might do with them.

Gift Notes for 92

Recently Dennis Byrd, a NY Jets football player became paralyzed in a game accident.

A quote in Sports Illustrated from his wife struck me to be quite wonderful! She said, “Tell everyone Dennis says he’s glad God chose him for this because he has the strength to handle it”.

I wonder and pray that we may have such strength when called upon. Makes our problems seem small, don’t it.

She also said “and tell everyone I’m glad God chose me as Dennis’ partner” (true love).

Well that made me think how lucky I am to have your Mother as my partner. And I can honestly say I am proud and honored that you respect and love your Mother, because I told you she would always and forever be your Best Friend.

So your gift is attached – “My Mother’s Prayers”

And a little something from Dad.

Love ya!
