1998 Christmas Letter

Can you remember what has occurred in the last 10 years since Dad has started writing – wow! Hopefully you have kept your copies. Each year I read them to reflect – and yes I cry.

God has certainly blessed our family. I know you will show appreciation whenever you can.

The highlight of course is when God presented us with little Max. Now Max is a joy. He may not be the perfect kid – but according to Kelly he is. We love him!

Again this year Mother and Dad have decided to “Adopt a Family”. Our newest teenage granddaughter Jessica went shopping with us. I know she got as much happiness out of helping less fortunate children as we did.

Each of you should stop for a moment and be thankful for all you have. The New Year goal for me has always been simple: Do all I can to make the next year even better than last for all the family.

Scott and Denni will make it official. I know we will all join in that celebration.

Help is on its way?

Maybe each of you may start your own letters. Time really does fly.

Love ya,

Mother and Dad

1998 Christmas Song

Gather round the fire bright and hold your loved ones near.

For merry are the holidays, a young at heart, time of year.

The children, oh how happy

The music, oh so sweet

Good cheer and gladness everywhere

And many good things to eat.

Here’s our wish for family

May all your dreams come true

God brings you joy and happiness

From Mom and Dad to you!

1998 Gift

I printed something for each of you – see if you can tell the special thing about it?

Don’t you wonder what each of you would do with $1,000 of them.

Mostly like each has their own ideas.

Notice how each of you have differently:

  1. Planned for the future
  2. Saved money
  3. Lived and spent money within your means

At least you will always have this – the “Minder” Bill.

Love, Dad
