1999 Christmas Letter

And the year 2000 is almost here. And I must say I am glad we all made it. And I no longer will have to hear – but dad this is how we do things – it’s the 90s!

“99” was a good year. It seems the family made progress in a lot of areas. Travel was good – Mom and Dad off on cruises. More ski’ing. Hurst Cooperstown. Scott and Denni to Oregon and Dufault’s on their lifetime pass to Disneyland!

The kids seem to becoming teenagers faster. No sooner than Max is about to get out of diapers – Denni and Scott are about to bless us with another! We’re about ready!

And 2000 brings about Mother and Dad’s 40th wedding anniversary – and we are extremely happy to share the celebration with all our children. The cruise will be fun and we’re all looking forward to it…..and as Scott said, that poor ship!

We’ve worked hard, been lucky and have had a good life. God certainly has smiled on our family! Our hope for the future is simple:

Don’t spend all you earn. Save for the future. Do something to earn God’s blessings.

Christmas is for the children….and I am one.

Your gift this year is one of “love”. Better luck next year.

Love ya,

Mother and Dad

PS: Check your oil!
