Yes, that’s what my mother repeated many times for a long time and had very little meaning for me. Somehow she prevailed, and ensured my brother and I
got through college. My parents had a little money for education, but Mother was persistent; she repeated over and over, “You will go to school, you will graduate and you will get a job!”.
Money was not the issue or what mattered – it was the guidance she provided that had the greatest value and impact. Mother was a Saint in our eyes, and my brother and I have been ever so grateful.
