- The tornado at the Grand Haven, MI cottage – making a couch fort to keep us safe and distracted
- Learning how to cook with Gramma
- Gramma teaching me to drive- finally after having to wait until after we moved to California
- My first car
- Going to college
- Building the Escrow business with Papa
- Watching their faces glow with love, upon seeing each of their grandchildren for the first time
- Driving to Lake Arrowhead with Gramma- a day before the “men” arrived
- Celebrating holidays, especially Christmas
- Talking with Gramma almost every day …good ole girl talk
